STUFF I'VE EITHER LEARNED OR SHOULD HAVE

We grieve for one of two reasons.  Either for what we never had and never will, or for what we did have and will miss.

When I thought I'd grow old gracefully, I must have been kidding.

Whether be vice or virtue, I've earned every line and wrinkle.  They're the roadmap of my life.

Plastic surgery is the height of vanity.  If I had lots of money, I'd probably feel different.

A parent's job is to teach.  A child's job is to learn.

If I'm ever comatose, and Gospel music doesn't cause me to respond, it's time to pull the plug.

Bad things don't happen because I'm being punished for my childhood sins.  If I were to be punished for that, I'd be lying under a Mack truck right now.

Erma Bombeck was a better role model than Roseanne.

I would have had a healthier concept of marriage if I had grown up with Roseanne instead of Father Knows Best.

Love, faith, and forgiveness are action verbs.

Sadly, my eating habits have a direct bearing on my weight.

If I knew then what I know now, I'd still mess up--just in a different way.

If the mountain was smooth, we wouldn't be able to climb it.
